Rosalie Berthier
Rosalie heads Synaps Academy, our training branch. As such, she oversees our efforts to design, roll out, and disseminate our training courses and learning tools. In parallel, Rosalie’s research focuses on economics in the Mediterranean region, with a specific attention to the economic role of women and their access to finance. Born and raised in France, she holds a BA from Sciences-Po and a MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics. She has lived and worked in Egypt, Turkey, and Lebanon, and managed projects in Syria and Tunisia. She is proficient in accounting, financial management, data analysis, and organizational development. For years, she has been plotting to turn Synaps into a fully-fledged feminist organization—an objective that will drive her for years to come.
